Material & craft
Austenitic Stainless Steel
304 and 316 austenitic stainless steel stands up to heat and corrosion and resists rust, which makes it our main material for soup pots, steamers, milk pans, pressure cookers and vacuum drinkware. Our Chaozhou plant is dedicated to it, at around 500 tonnes a year. Flask liners are electropolished and given a 12-micron copper layer for longer heat retention, and the Himalaya range adds coating-free ceramic-steel fusion with imported enamel on a stainless body.
Glass
High-borosilicate glass handles both heat and cold, and lets you see what is inside. The Kingsley temperature-display titanium cup has a thickened, double-walled borosilicate body that stays cool to hold, and our soup pots and woks come with toughened glass lids so you can watch the food as it cooks.
